The Clara and Harald collection by COHA revolves
around the pillar of two cultures interacting, Peruvian
and Danish. Methodologically, with a sensitive and
sensible quest for harmony, the two artists, Veronica
Angie Cornejo Llosa and Klaus Rune Hansen, trace
infinite shapes to create single-minded characters
with unique personalities.
The dialog of two cultures results in this four-handed
artwork. The Clara and Harald collection pays tribute
to humankind and the complexity of our interactions
and relationships. The artists define the individual
as a relational being and create a collection of art
paintings in which our differences become a strength.
For the artists, diversity stimulates our creativity and
open-mindedness by broadening our minds, while
encouraging us to reassert our certainties.
The artists embody allegories from Inca and Viking
characters to give them a symbolic function. Thus,
each silhouette, with their own unique character trait,
delivers a kindly message about social life.
This mirrored journey allows us to reflect on how we
behave with ourselves and interact with others.

The Gourmet (Cusi)
Dimensions : 100 x 100 cm
Acrylic on linen
Savoir-vivre (referring in French to good manners and, more extensively, to the art of living one’s life fully) is a matter of taste. With our fingers, our eyes, our taste buds, and our minds, we savour the gourmet pleasures that life offers us. They take on their full meaning when shared. All in all, our senses bring even more sense into our lives.
Cusi’s message : Indulgence stimulates the senses we too often forget.
The Tolerant (Karl)
Dimensions : 80 x 80 cm
Acrylic on linen
Based on respect for differences, toleranceis the essential pillar of a harmonioussocial life. This pivotal virtue allows usto consider for what it is what we wouldnot spontaneously accept, as it doesnot fit in our cultural mindframe. Whatwould a society without tolerance be like ?Perhaps a society where we would all beidentical, where there would no longerbe particular cultures, beliefs, practices,or opinions.
Karl’s message : Overcoming differencesmeans discovering others, but it also meansdiscovering yourself.

The Hypersensitive (Sisa)
Dimensions : 100×100 cm
Acrylic on linen
Being hypersensitive means experiencing everything very intensely. The pretty and the ugly. It works like a gearbox without the « neutral » option.
Sisa’s message : Without us, humans with big hearts, life would have less flavour. Without us, multifaceted glasses, soul-sponges, creative artists, idealists, modern-day magicians, the world would be a terribly dull place.
The Creative (Leif)
Dimensions : 80 x 80 cm
Acrylic on linen
What would the universe be without creativity ? A world with no light ? Creativity invents and experiments. But above all, it’s about knowing how to take risks and break
the rules. By creating, we make mistakes and have fun.
Leif’s message : The power of creativity lies within each and every one of us.

The Dancer in the Moment (Astrid)
Dimensions : 90 x 90 cm
Acrylic on linen
The past and the future don’t exist; they are only an illusion created by your mind ! Living in the present moment means being here and now, entirely and unconditionally.
Astrid’s message : Close your eyes, breathe deeply, feel the air coming in and out of your body, and become aware of the present moment.
The Lazy One (Qilla)
Dimensions : 90x 90 cm
Acrylic on linen
Laziness has its benefits ! In Qilla’s mind, it’s neither about being workshy nor slothful, but about having free time to reflect and enjoy life. Deep boredom then becomes a nurturing void. As we reflect on how short life actually is, we are prompted to act, create, and innovate.
Qilla’s message : Know your right to laziness !
